This is the first item's accordion body. Jotron Jotron TR-8000 AIS. Jotron has been on the forefront of producing Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) since 2004. AIS broadcast communication systems are now required on most vessels and primarily used for sending ship information between ships and to onshore recipients; utilizing the maritime VHF radio band. Jotron proudly presents the new Tron AIS TR-8000, the latest generation AIS class A. After several months of dedicated development, this new ship-born AIS class A has been designed with special features to allow easy installation and to secure safe operation on-board of all types of ships. Jotron’s long tradition in working closely with the marine industry has resulted in the new Tron AIS TR-8000, which comes with several innovated solutions. The Tron AIS TR-8000 has been designed with a separate transceiver unit including a junction interface and a 7in touch display unit. The separate transceiver unit has been developed to ease any ECDIS interface while the design of the display unit will meet ‘standalone’, flush and panel mounting. Tron AIS TR-8000 will comply with the new inland waterways requirements.
